2. Chevrolet Bolt EV

The new Chevrolet Bolt EV claims to have a driving range that matches the six-figure Tesla Model S, but at the price of a family sedan. The Bolt EV is estimated to have a 200 mile range off of one charge and will have a fast-charge time of 60 minutes. The fast-charge is expected to charge 80% of the battery. That’s an awesome driving range for such an affordable car, especially considering most electrics only have around a 100 mile range. Initial reviews of the Bolt EV have praised the Bolts responsive steering and stability, calling it fun to drive. The GM one-pedal driving prototype is used in the new Bolt EV as well, making it so when you remove your foot from the gas pedal, regenerative braking starts to slow the car. You could theoretically never need to touch the brake pedal when driving.
